What We Offer

The VBC offers a variety of activities for mothers to do with kids and without kids:

• Monthly meetings open to existing members and those interested in joining. Mark your calendar for the first Thursday of every month from 10:00 to 12:30 and come and join us for a coffee and a chat.
• Weekly meetings in smaller Mothers' Groups made up of mums and their babies/toddlers of a similar same age (or with similar due dates). These are a great forum for getting to know others in a similar situation to you and exchanging experiences and tips on pregnancy, birth, childcare, child development, and life in Vienna with a small child.
• Helpful and time-saving information from mums with experience with local hospitals, doctors, playgroups, etc.
• District groups, as well as various social activities led by volunteer mums and dads for mums and dads.
• An informative Web site providing resources and links to help you access services and learn about living in Vienna pregnant or with a child.
• A members-only, weekly e-mail Notice with relevant information and opportunities.
• A biannual flea market where members and non-members can buy and sell gently-used baby and kid clothes, toys, and equipment.
• Special events designed to inform parents on a variety of topics, such as bilingual schools available in Vienna and childcare options.
