Monthly Meetings

Mark your calendar for the first Thursday of every month from 10:00 to 12:30 and come and join us for a coffee and a chat. This is a social get-together which gives you the opportunity to meet and visit with other mums ofbabies/toddlers and mums-to-be. It is a great forum to exchange experiences, gain advice, see old friends, and make new friends. If you are thinking to join the VBC, but would like to know more, it is a perfect chance to learn more and even to join.

In cooler months we meet at the St. Salvator church in the city; and during the summer months and weather permiting, we meet outside at a local park.  The church hall is a kid-friendly environment and we have a few toys available. We always have some snacks, juice, tea, and coffee. See you there!

(Please note that sometimes a public holiday falls on the first Thursday of the month. If this is the case, we try to schedule for the second Thursday. Always check the homepage for the most up-to-date information.) 

How to get to St. Salvator Hall:

The closest U-bahn stations are the U4 Schwedenplatz or the U1 Stephansplatz. If coming by U4, exit toward Rotenturmstrasse and head up the street as if going to Stephansdom; if from Stephansplatz, exit Stephansdom and head down Rotenturmstrasse away from the Stephansdom. When you see the ice cream parlor Zanoni Zanoni, go right or left depending on your direction (Wipplinger Strasse T-junctions here into Rotenturmstrasse so it only goes one way). Walk straight, past the Hohe Markt on the left and the Anker Clock on the right, and then after a little imbiss you will cross Tuchlauben. Look for a café on your right. Just after that will be a row of windows (sometimes there is kids artwork taped to the windows) and then the entrance for a lovely yellow, ornate building. The entrance is a hallway to a courtyard and the first door on your right in the hallway is the room where we will meet. There will be a sign or two posted. To get directions from your home...
